FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where are you located?

I’m based in Southern Iowa, just a short drive from the Kansas City area — and yes, I absolutely travel! Whether you're planning a wedding out of state or want to book a destination session, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s work something out.

What payment options do you accept?

For your convenience, I accept several secure payment options, including:

  • Credit and debit cards

  • Venmo

  • PayPal

Full payment details will be provided during the booking process. A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session or wedding date, with the remaining balance due by the scheduled session date unless otherwise arranged.

If you have questions about payment plans or prefer a specific method, feel free to reach out — I’m happy to work with you.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

All retainer fees are non-refundable, as they reserve your session date and time.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled with sufficient notice can typically be rescheduled at no additional charge, based on my availability.

No-shows or last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours) may not be eligible for rescheduling and are handled at my discretion. I understand that life happens, and I always do my best to be flexible, but respect for each other’s time is important.

How do I book a session or wedding with you?

You can get in touch through my contact page to check availability and start the booking process. A signed contract and retainer are required to reserve your date.

How long before we receive our photos?

For lifestyle sessions, galleries are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks. Weddings take about 8-12 weeks (depending on the package chosen). I’ll always keep you updated and make sure your gallery is delivered on time.

Can we print the photos ourselves?

Absolutely! You’ll receive high-resolution, print-ready files with a personal print release. That said, I also offer professional print options for the best color and quality.

Do you offer albums or prints?

Yes! I offer a curated selection of fine art prints, albums, and travel photography for purchase. Be sure to check out my storefront to explore what's available.

Are you insured?

Yes, I am fully insured and a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America, which helps ensure a professional and reliable experience for all my clients.

What if the weather is bad on our session day?

No worries! I’ll work closely with you to reschedule or adjust plans if weather gets in the way. I always aim to keep things stress-free and flexible.
